Dakota Medical Foundation’s GiveBack Matching Gift Program

Dakota Medical Foundation established the GiveBack matching gift program to provide an incentive for greater charitable giving in the region and to enhance the capacity of nonprofit organizations to develop a diverse funding base. GiveBack is part of an overall effort to give donors the opportunity to share their time, talent, and treasure with the nonprofit organizations and causes that are most important to them. Donors can have their charitable contributions matched when they donate to Dakota Medical Foundation’s matching gift program and designate their gift to a match grant partner, initiative or named fund. To be eligible for matching funds, contributions must meet minimum requirements determined for each organization. If the minimum contribution requirement is met, Dakota Medical Foundation matches those contributions dollar for dollar up to a maximum board approved amount per organization each fiscal year (October 1 – September 30).

100% of every contribution supports health-related nonprofit programs; 0% goes toward overhead or administrative fees.
