About the Impact FoundationJim Manly - Director of Volunteer Initiatives
Jim Manly, J.D. has thirty years experience in management with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. He developed the Human Resources department into a full service operation, managing recruitment, legal compliance, training, salary and benefit administration, computerized information systems, and employee relations. Additional areas of management included quality management, risk management, and operations management.
Jim served nine years on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of North Dakota State University, was a charter member and past president of Frontier Toastmasters, and a charter member and past president of the Fargo Moorhead Human Resources Association. He is also a certified Zenger-Miller Achieve instructor. Jim has been with the Impact Foundation since March 2007 researching and developing Volunteer Management.
