The mission of Access of the Red River Valley is to provide care and support to children and adults with disabilities in their right to lead dignified, independent lives in the community.

The Alex Stern Family Foundation supports the arts, social welfare/human services, education, youth recreation, civic projects and health issues for the benefit of the greater Fargo-Moorhead area.

Alexa's Hope exists to end the waiting list for organ donation such that no person in need of an organ transplant is denied due to the lack of available organs. The Foundation will initially place an emphasis on support for families involved with pediatric donation and transplantation issues. 

American Gold Gymnastics encourages and teaches children to believe in themselves through quality gymnastic instruction and movement.   Providing opportunities for all ages and abilities in physical fitness and well being  through recreational gymnastics.  As home to the Official Goodwill Ambassadors for the State of North Dakota, the F-M Acro Team performs to standing ovations across the country.  Known in the region for top quality competitive athletes, American Gold Gymnastics has a 29 year tradition of excellence as one of the top youth organizations in the region. 

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

The Anne Carlsen Center exists to make the world a more inclusive place where independence is a gift to all.

In 2010, Brent Solseng established The Pam Solseng Ovarian Cancer Fund in memory of his wife, who died after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.  This Fund supports health-related projects and programs within Dakota Medical Foundation's service area, with a special emphasis on nursing and pharmacy education and ovarian cancer programs.

The Great Plains Food Bank is North Dakota’s largest hunger-relief organization. Our vision is to create a hunger free North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota by recovering and distributing surplus food, engaging in community partnerships and advocating for social change. We form the backbone of organizations working together to efficiently alleviate hunger in 54 counties across North Dakota and western Minnesota. The Great Plains Food Bank has been feeding children, seniors and working families for more than 25 years – touching the lives of 1 in 11 North Dakotans who seek food assistance each year.

Impact Foundation, along with Students Today Leaders Forever have established a fund in which it is possible to donate financially online to support the efforts of the largest food drive in Fargo's history. This food drive is aiming to bring together youth of all ages for a common good. Students from the elementary to the high school level all over the Fargo-Moorhead area are joining together to fill the floor of the Fargodome for local food pantries to ensure that needy individuals have a sufficient amount of food.

To support our friends and neighbors in the Minot area by providing financial assistance for flood recovery efforts.

POWER stands for Providing Opportunities With Empowerment and Respect. The POWER fund supports the YWCA in its mission to help families who are dealing with domestic violence. Our mission is to assist in providing transportation resources...helping to give these families a fresh start on life. We assist with funding for: cars, auto insurance, gasoline, vehicle maintenance, bus passes and other needs.

To provide assistance to individuals and community organizations who have been impacted by the spring flooding of the Red River of the North.

The Sunshine Memorial Fund supports the development and implementation of programs and projects locally and throughout the United States that focused on providing education opportunites about health, wellness, hydration and hiker awareness.

In 2010, the North Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs established this charitable fund to support the emergency needs of North Dakota veterans and their eligible dependents, including health and healthcare access, economic recovery, homelessness and housing, education and training, and other emergency needs.

The Outdoor Adventure Foundation, Inc.provides hunting and fishing adventures for children under the age of 18 and young adults under the age of 25 with cancer and other life threatening illness. We are also providing hunting and fishing adventures for disabled veterans under the age of 40 that are wheel chair bound caused by injury during active service or have lost a limb during active service.

With love and as family, Pioneer Memorial Care Center provides total care and support to adults with diverse needs.

Plains Art Museum brings people and art together for learning and inspiration. As a public institution we celebrate the finest of human achievement and inspire and engage diverse audiences in the creation, exhibition, collection and preservation of art.

We promote independence and an enhanced quality of life for adults with serious mental illness.

The Prairie Learning Center Foundation exists to support the Prairie Learning Center in it's mission to help boys aged 13-18 examine their behavior and give them the supports and services to return to their families and communities as respectful, responsible young men.

The Red River Children’s Advocacy Center facilitates the coordination of North Dakota and Minnesota community response to child abuse for victims and their families through a team approach to investigation, treatment and prosecution in a safe and child centered environment.  

To provide immediate relief of pain for low-income dental patients.

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with local churches and other likeminded partners to raise up life long followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

RiverView Foundation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to secure and distribute charitable funds on behalf of RiverView Health.

Supporting programs that improve the lives of children and their families

The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley supports families whose children are receiving medical care in the Fargo-Moorhead area by providing a home away from home to keep families close to their children, and supporting programs that directly benefit the well-being of children.

To treat preschool children (2-7 years) who have speech communication difficulties and prepare them for successful entry into their elementary and high school years.  All treatment is entirely free to the patient and his/her family following approved evaluation by licensed Speech Pathologists provided that the parent(s) or guardians will bring the child to the specially designed treatment facility located in the Fargo Masonic Center.
 

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

The mission of Bluestem Center for the Arts in support of Trollwood Performing Arts School is to educate, entertain, inspire and enrich our community through the arts.   Our premiere program at Bluestem is Trollwood Performing Arts School, a program of Fargo Public Schools.  The mission of TPAS is to inspire the students we serve through the arts to realize their full potential and be a positive influence in the global community.  Together, Bluestem and TPAS offer a creative space at Bluestem Center for the Arts, celebrating artistic excellence and inspiring personal growth in a beautiful, nature-inspired setting.
