Mission

The mission of Freedom Resource Center for Independent Living is to work toward equality and inclusion for people with disabilities through programs of empowerment, community education, and systems change. We envision a society where ALL individuals are valued, respected, have an equal opportunity, access, responsibility, and freedom of choice in all aspects of life.

Background

Freedom Resource Center is a disability rights organization that proudly serves people of all ages with all types of disabilities. We actively promote equal choice and equal responsibility for people with disabilities. Core services include individual and systems advocacy, Independent Living skills training, information and referral, and peer mentoring.
