Mission

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s®. Visit www.alz.org/mnnd or call 800.272.3900.

Background

"Caregiving for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease is emotionally devastating and physically exhausting. The Alzheimer's Association provided our family with the education, resources, and support needed to help us provide loving care for Mom. Don't go it alone...reach out and ask for help!"

Delene G.

-----

No matter where you live, the Alzheimer's Association is here for you. For more than 30 years, the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter has led the fight against Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

As the premier source of information, support, and hope for those with Alzheimer's disease, their families, and caregivers, we offer a broad range of programs and services statewide including: 24/7 Helpline, Community Education, Support Groups, Care Consultation, MedicAlert® + Alzheimer's Association Safe Return® and Professional Education.

We advocate at the state and federal levels for dementia-friendly legislation and increased federal research funding into treatments, preventions and a cure, and we're the largest, private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.
