Your donations help bring healing to those struggling with addictions. You help us provide interventions that get people to treatment. You help us answer the myriad questions people ask about addictions and their loved ones. You help us counsel those who need to talk to someone in a nonjudgmental and caring way. You help our community understand addictions and how to prevent them. You help us bring library resources to the region that speak about healing, wholeness, restoration, and new life. Mission

"A Christian Ministry of healing for those who struggle with addictions".

Background

Lost and Found Ministry offers support and guidance to those suffering from addictions and to the families who love them. Where can you turn when you don't even know the first step? Contact Lost and Found Ministry for solid information on helping yourself or your loved one move beyond the stranglehold of addictions. Lost and Found Ministry is truly a life-saving ministry. All are welcome regardless of religious affiliation or inclination.

Lost and Found Ministry offers intervention services, an addiction/self-help Library, presentations (off and on-site), pastoral counseling, 5th steps, and support group lists.

Lost and Found's addiction/self-help library truly is one of a kind.  Professionals such as counselors, therapists, pastors, group leaders, and doctors come to the library to find new learning materials for themselves and for their clients. How can we raise our children to be so strong they will avoid drugs and alcohol? Check out a video or get a book. Our library contains over 7500 pieces of media, valued at over $250,000.   We carry DVDs, Videos, CDs, Audios, Books, Workbooks and Games.  Our online library catalog can be accessed on our website.

We continue to grow, and increasingly see higher utilization of our services.  In the past 5 years (January 2007- December 2011), we have provided over 270 - presentations, 280 - '5th Steps', had 1014  new library patrons, and had 16,251 checkouts from our library.  We have met with 3970 individuals who received pastoral counseling and/or consultation with our Intervention Specialist.  And ALL of this has been made possible through the generous donation of time and the talents of our volunteers, who have provided us with over 7877 hours of volunteer service!

Lost and Found Ministry, a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN, has been serving the region--and the nation--for 25 years. This is the place families turn to if they're wondering about a 12-step program, inpatient or outpatient treatment programs, or work-life challenges. The library is open from 8-5 daily and 7-9 pm Monday-Thursday evenings.
