Providing home-like comfort, support and care for families with children receiving medical care in Fargo-Moorhead.

Background

Key Qualities:
 

  • The Ronald McDonald House provides lodging and support for out of town families of various income levels, ethnicities and backgrounds when their children are receiving medical treatment and care in the Fargo/Moorhead area.
  • Families are given a private bedroom, have access to a fully stocked kitchen and laundry and if necessary, can be transported to medical facilities by the House staff, using the Ronald McDonald House van.
     
  • Families are asked to pay $15 a night to stay at the House. However, no one is turned away because of inability to pay. Actual costs to the Ronald McDonald House amount to more than $85 per room per night.
     
  • There is no limit to the time families are able to stay while their children are receiving care or treatment.
     
  • 100% of donations benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Fargo, ND
     
  • Over 900 volunteers per year perform an array of needed tasks and services, all of which benefit the families we serve.
