HeartSprings

Mission

A Center for Health, Hope, and Healing for ALL

Background

HeartSprings began as a dream by a group of individuals in the community who put forth its mission and vision in the fall of 2003.  It was later implemented into Messiah Lutheran’s Health Ministry program in the fall of 2005.  It started by offering a few services such as massage, reflexology, counseling, and stress management two hours one day per week.  In July 2007, HeartSprings became a nonprofit within the state of ND and in February 2009 we officially separated off from the church (though Messiah stills supports our work offering space and assistance).  In January 2010 we received our official nonprofit 501 c 3 status.

Our work has grown with over 15 licensed and registered practitioners providing integrative/complementary medicine.  We provide health, hope, and healing for anyone in the community through our services, education, and community projects and offerings.  At least one-third of our programs are free or donation only basis.  HeartSprings is open to ALL people and specializes in services to those living with neuological conditions such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, etc. and Stoke and those living with cancer.  HeartSprings also has a special mission with the military in helping to aid those men and women living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries to heal the wounds of war.
