You may have heard the story of the kid pushing a big rock up a hill. Another kid stood watching as he pushed and groaned, groaned and pushed. Finally, the second kid remarked to the pusher that it was too bad he wasn’t using all of his strength. Upset, the first kid exclaimed “Are you crazy? I’m exhausted, I’m ready to collapse! What do you mean I’m not using all my strength?” To which the second kid replied “You haven’t asked me to help”.
On behalf of all the nonprofits in our region pushing large rocks, we are asking for your help. We encourage you to get involved and join your friends and neighbors who are volunteering to make a difference in our communities.
