Details
Each year at the Walk to Defeat ALS, over 6,000 people in MN, ND and SD, including people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, families, friends, and corporate leaders, join together to raise funds in support of The ALS Association’s free programs and services that benefit people with ALS and their families as well as cutting-edge research.
Volunteers are needed to serve on Sat, August 25, 2012 from 7:30 a.m. - Noon in Fargo. All volunteers will help with setup and clean-up in addition to a job below. Due to responsibilities, volunteers are not able to participate in the walk itself except if decorating.
- Decorating
- Face painting and/or temporary tattoos
- Food distribution
- Photographer
- T-shirt distribution
Looking for volunteers who are:
- Available to volunteer entire shift
- Willing to change jobs day of the event if needed
- Volunteering with a parent/adult if 15 or younger
Must sign up to volunteer before the event.
